Student to Student

This year the students at the Zurich International School in Switzerland decided to Pack for a Purpose. One of the teachers at the school received a copy of the article featuring Pack for a Purpose in the November issue of O, the Oprah Magazine, from her sister in the United States. After reading it, she contacted Pack for a Purpose to see how the students could become involved.

The students chose to Pack for a Purpose when they traveled to Istanbul Turkey this past May. They brought 10 kilos of supplies which were delivered to the Ritz Carlton Istanbul. The Ritz Carlton supports two primary schools, the Dincbas Elementary School and the Zincirli Elementary School in a rural area of Turkey which has sustained major damage from earthquakes. This generosity from students in Switzerland to students in Turkey exemplifies the concept at the heart of Pack for a Purpose.
