Yogam’s Story

When four of us (two couples) were planning a trip to Cambodia and Vietnam, I came across PfaP on the Shinta Mani Club Hotel, Siem Reap website. It seemed like a wonderful idea and we planned the itinerary in such a way that Siem Reap was our first destination so we could drop off the stationery supplies we had collected. We began collecting supplies and had some close friends also donating. We ended up with 25 kgs (two boxes)!

We handed over the supplies to Renee, the manager at Shinta Mani Hotel, who arranged for us to meet Mrs. Chitra Vincent, who is the executive director of the Shinta Mani Foundation. Mrs. Chitra explained how and where our supplies would be put to use and also explained all the other work the foundation was doing. It was a very fulfilling experience and I am hoping to do the same in my future travels.
