Tenikwa Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre accepts any injured or abandoned wild animals along the Garden Route and treats them in their hospital, ensuring that they undergo a professional rehabilitation process before releasing them back to the wild. This is a non-profit organisation that does a tremendous amount of work to ensure wild animals have a place to go when they are injured.

Project #2

The RAD Foundation believes in M.A.G.I.C (Music and Arts Growing Inspired Children), and introduces the Arts to Rural communities, providing a platform for integration and unity in diversity, through classes, workshops, carnivals and festivals. Our aim is to get youth off the streets and into a environment where they can learn, grow and achieve manageable goals. We work in collaboration with several other NGOs to ensure reaching all target groups of youth to introduce them to the projects which include: HIV/AIDS awareness, substance abuse, life skills, recycling, nutrition and other relevant youth issues. Our motto is to INSPIRE, ENGAGE, EDUCATE with Respect, Attitude and Discipline.

Project #3

Zolani Hope Centre is an initiative in Montagu to help members of the disadvantaged community of Zolani to develop skills and creativity and therefore gain an income in order to lead a positive life. Zolani is situated in a rural area where apart from seasonal agricultural work, there is not much employment and poverty is rife. The centre teaches woodworking skills and it also supports a soup kitchen
