Belize is a beautiful destination that seamlessly blends together the Central American jungles and the Caribbean Sea. Honeymooners, adventurous family vacationers, and volunteer vacationers flock to this impressive country to explore Maya sites, watch for colorful birds and other wildlife, and snorkel off the Northern Cayes. While tourists are busy scouting the ruins of ancient civilizations and exploring wildlife sanctuaries and marine reserves, they can also find ways to make a difference when traveling to Belize. There are many non-profit organizations and service projects to which tourists can donate. There are a number of service projects in Belize that accept charitable donations.

Visitors interested in responsible tourism can help children in Belize by donating school supplies, including backpacks, notebooks, and writing utensils to a number of these non-profits. Humanitarians interested in helping other parts of the community are invited to donate to sustainable agriculture projects; these projects need small tools. Other projects are focused on providing medical care and improving wellness in these communities; visitors are invited to donate medical supplies to these organizations.
