Mukuni Orphan Sponsorship Program. The Butterfly Tree sponsors the education of over 250 orphans at Mukuni Village.

Mukuni Pre School and Mukuni Basic School which serve over 1,250 children from preschool to grade 9.

Pencils, pens, erasers, solar scientific calculators, rulers, compasses, protractors, chalk, lined note pads, crayons, coloured pencils, jump ropes, soccer balls, basketballls, spelling games i.e. Scrabble or Bananagrams, math games, Simple Sums math books, wall teaching aids (maps, charts, ABC's and math posters), classic novels, picture books, childrens' books, new clothing for children ages 5 to 15.

Single mothers sewing project.
Needs
Sewing thread, hand sewing needles, pins, crochet hooks.
Project #4
The Butterfly Tree Maternity Clinic. The clinic was built by the charity to provide a safe environment for mothers and the delivery of their babies. There is additional accommodation for mothers who walk long distances to stay prior to the onset of labour.
Needs
Folic acid, vitamin supplements, new baby clothes & blankets.

Mukuni Health Centre.
Needs
Toothbrushes, toothpaste, bandages, dressings, band-aids, vitamin supplements.
Project #6
Mukuni HIV and Aids project (under five feeding program to prevent transmission of HIV and Aids from mother to infant). The Butterfly Tree provides formulae to replace breast milk for mothers who are HIV positive. This is the only one of its kind in Zambia and our latest tests show that all the babies on the program are free of HIV.
Needs
Vitamin supplements, folic acid, soap, toothbrushes, toothpaste, band-aids, new baby clothes and blankets.
