Project #1
Horseshoe Primary School which serves 29 orphans between the ages of 8 and 14.The most basic of supplies are needed in schools.Its common nowdays to see children in schools with a string around their neck with a tiny bit of a pencil attached and they will share this tiny bit of pencil with a friend.
Needs
Pens, pencils, colored pencils, excersise books, rulers, magazines for cutting out pictures for projects, world maps, chalk, new and gently used clothes (especially sweaters, tshirts, jeans, and shorts), shoes in all child sizes.
Project #2
CAMPFIRE (Community Area Management Program For Indigenous Resources) program. CAMPFIRE was set up to help communities surrounding marginal wildlife areas benefit from their natural resources, in the case of our concession in Mavuradonha through photographic tourism. The game scouts assist in antipoaching and wildlife patrols. Currently, in the short term future assistance is needed in setting up small business plans to benefit the community.
Needs
Patrol boots for the game scouts in all mens sizes, bush colored overalls and tshirts, southern african mammal guide books, binoculars, camping equipment, sleeping bags, roll mats, torches/flashlights (solar or windup is best), compact cooking pots. beekeeping overalls, books on beekeeping, books on uses of bees wax. .
