Motria’s Story

I heard about Pack for a Purpose in 2011 before my first trip to the South Luangwa Valley in Zambia. I was able to cram my bags with school supplies which we joyfully distributed to several schools via Project Luangwa. 2 years later, I am returning to the Valley with even more supplies this time. I want to take a moment to thank you for teaching travelers to be mindful, empathetic and useful to the communities we visit. I have become passionately involved in supporting education in Zambia – every pencil, every notebook, every book I pack into my bags will help a child to learn, to grow and become hopefully a wise dynamic educated member, leader, guardian of their remarkable communities. So THANK YOU for launching this noble cause and fantastic website.
