The Democratic Republic of São Tomé and Príncipe is an island state in the Gulf of Guinea. São Tomé and Príncipe is the second-smallest country in Africa, however, despite its size, is enormous in all that it has to offer visitors in natural and cultural appeal, as travelers can discover during their visit to this unique country.Apart from all this unique natural beauty, travelers can enjoy of its pristine beaches of golden sand and crystal clear water and also the possibility of watching endemic birds, turtles, whales and dolphins.

Príncipe Island is part of the World Network of Biosphere Reserves, a global programme to foster the conservation of biological and cultural diversity, promoting economic and social development based on partnerships between people and nature.
