The Chabwera School is a one room school that directly benefits and educates 175 children from ages 6 through 14 years old in the local Nsefu village. A class room was built and four teachers work in shifts to educate the children. Nsefu is a rural area of Zambia.

The Nsefu Wildlife Conservation Foundation’s sewing project benefits 100 village women. They have been instructed by a seamstress to use seven treadle sewing machines to produce items for sale, such as school and ranger uniforms, shopping bags, cushion covers, dresses and other household items.

NWCF Anti-Poaching Project supports 18 rangers who patrol the Nsefu sector. They arrest poachers and remove snares. They travel on foot, by four wheel drive vehicle and by boat.
Patrols go into the bush for days at a time. The rangers require clothing and equipment that will hold up in the jungle. They also need things that can be used at the ranger station, such as bedding and kitchen supplies.

• Few of the children benefiting from these projects have access to toothpaste, toothbrushes, or a dentist. The candy promotes cavities.
• The balloons once they become deflated are a choking hazard for local wildlife.
Instead of taking candy or balloons, use that space for additional requested supplies, as they are priceless.
