Aruba
We have recently been informed by a PfaP traveler of the current situation in customs in Aruba. Please be sure adhere to the requirements when you Pack for a Purpose. Travelers MUST have receipts and the value of any donations brought in must be under $210 USD. If not, customs will make up a value, and you must pay the tax - in cash - or they will confiscate the donation.

Once you choose a lodging from this page, you will be able to see the exact needs requested by the community project so you can choose to pack for a purpose and express your gratitude to the local community with the supplies you bring.
Facts about Aruba
The beautiful island of Aruba is located just 15 miles north of Venezuela. Visitors will find welcoming white sand beaches which invite activities including swimming, snorkeling, kite surfing, waterskiing, tubing, and parasailing. There are several museums on the island and international travelers will find many attractions away from the beach that beckon.
While visiting Aruba first time voluntourists will find opportunities to make a big impact on Aruba’s communities. Responsible tourism is a great way to make every vacation more meaningful. Bringing supplies for orphanages on the island is a wonderful way to give back to the community.
