The English library at Kampong Tralach Green School was created with the support of cruise proceeds to encourage learning the language. Prior to 2012, there weren’t opportunities for students in the village of Kampong Tralach Krom to learn English outside of specialized state schools or expensive private lessons unmanageable for locals.
With your continued donations and support the Green School Project is now able to provide free-of-charge education of English, Khmer and computer literacy. The project inspires about 82 local children from the ages 5 through 18 years old to work and learn creatively with others for the betterment of the community and for their own futures.

Candy and balloons are not on the needs list as they are harmful for the children and the environment for the following reasons:
• Few of the children benefiting from these projects have access to toothpaste, toothbrushes, or a dentist. The candy promotes cavities.
• The balloons once they become deflated are a choking hazard for local wildlife.
Instead of taking candy or balloons, use that space for additional requested supplies, as they are priceless.
