Sharon’s Story

It’s no secret my family and I love an overseas getaway, especially to the South Pacific Islands.
What you might not know is apart from the cocktails, the snorkelling and the shopping, our favourite part is meeting the locals, especially the children.

Although we like visiting the local communities and villages, seeing the vast differences from their life to ours hits home pretty hard, schools and health centres in particular – That’s why we’ve joined Pack for a Purpose. An organisation that supplies teachers and students with school supplies and nurses with health and hygiene products.

Later this week, we’ll get the joy of donating all these supplies for a few of the local schools and nursing stations in Vanuatu. Whilst the students won’t be going back for another week, we can only imagine the smiles on their faces and how thankful the communities would be to have brand new supplies.
