Quick Facts

Pack for a Purpose is a non-profit, based in Raleigh, NC, that makes it easy for global travelers to donate much needed supplies to the local communities they plan to visit. Pack for a Purpose lists requested items provided by our more than 360 participants in our initiative, making it simple for travelers to make a difference on every trip. Since their inception in January 2010, the global travel community has donated more than 211,835 kgs (467,016 pounds) of supplies to community projects in need worldwide. By simply adding a few medical, school, or other requested supplies in their luggage, these travelers have made a Big Impact.

Our mission is to positively impact communities around the world by assisting travelers who want to take meaningful contributions to the destinations they visit.

Countries
Pack for a Purpose partners with participating accommodations and tour companies to supply community project needs in 50 countries.

Participants
There are more than 360 participating accommodations and tour companies that accept Pack for a Purpose items from travelers and deliver them to local projects.
