Lisa’s Story

It has been my pleasure as a travel consultant to do more than just see the world, but to help those that live in it as well. The past two Septembers, (2013 and 2014) I have had the privilege of being a traveler who Packed for a Purpose through participation in Sandals Foundation. Sandals Foundation is the philanthropic arm of Sandals and Beaches Resorts.

The group GIFTE, Global Institute for Travel Entrepreneurs, that I belong to has had the pleasure of holding our yearly meeting at Sandals Whitehouse and Beaches Turks and Caicos. On both of these occasions, 40 or so other travel agency owners and I had the pleasure of participating in Pack for a Purpose and bringing much needed school supplies to the schools on the islands where Sandals resorts are located. I love what Pack for a Purpose has to offer travelers. They make it so easy and the rewards are endless, especially when you are able to participate in visiting one of the schools via Sandals Reading Road Trip. I look forward to carrying on this tradition.
