Kelly and Adrian Martin’s Story

The Caribbean holds a very special place in my and my husband’s hearts. We got engaged, married, and honeymooned on different Caribbean islands, and we travel back as often as we are able to. Regardless of which island we visit, the thing we love most about the Caribbean is the people.

Adrian and I learned about Pack for a Purpose via a Sandals Facebook group last year, and we have participated in it on every trip since. We don’t have children of our own, so it is a wonderful feeling and fun experience to go shopping and find supplies, arts, crafts, games, etc. for such a worthy cause.

The Caribbean people have brought so much joy, happiness, and smiles to our lives, we can only hope our small gestures do the same for the children of our favorite islands.

Our Pack for a Purpose bag/backpack is the first bag that gets packed each trip, and we are already mapping out our goodies for our next island adventure! We also want to say a quick thank you to Sandals Foundation for helping us take part in this great effort, and thank you Pack for a Purpose for founding such an amazing cause.
