Impactful Partnership Provides Medical Supplies around the Globe

Pack for a Purpose is truly delighted to partner with Orange County Not Just Tourists (OCNJT). This partnership provides travelers from the United States with the opportunity to take an entire suitcase of requested medical supplies to projects in over 8 countries from Fiji to the Dominican Republic.

OCNJT is a not-for-profit organization that collects high-quality surplus medical supplies from hospitals. OCNJT packs the supplies into suitcases and sends them to travelers who deliver the supplies to Pack for a Purpose participants. Each suitcase has a packing list included so that travelers can verify the contents. Travelers just have to pay the actual shipping costs from California to their residence in the USA.

The wording below is placed on each participating accommodation/tour company’s page so travelers can easily contact OCNJT.

If you live in the USA, and would like to take a suitcase of medical supplies selected specifically for the medical project below, please contact oc@njt.net. We are pleased to partner with OC Not Just Tourists to provide useful and requested medical supplies for clinics and hospitals across the globe. Your only expense will be the cost of shipping from California to your residence in the USA. If you choose to do this, you will make a Big Impact!

The first official recipient of a suitcase of medical supplies from our partnership was the Bequia Hospital in Bequia. Sunny Sohn, a Pack for a Purpose traveler with Bluefoot Travel, made this generous donation.

We are excited to partner with OCNJT to provide useful and requested medical supplies for clinics and hospital around the globe. In 2020, we hope even more PfaP participants will benefit from this great partnership.
