PfaP Travelers Give Royally at Princess Hotels in the Dominican Republic

When our participants send in their supply reports three times a year, it is a thrilling reaffirmation of travelers’ generosity and commitment to giving back to the communities they visit.

Not only does the sun shine in the Dominican Republic, but the guests at Hotel Caribe Deluxe Princess and Hotel Tropical Deluxe Princess shine as well in their dedication to supporting the local community through “Dame Una Mano DR.”

Since January 2018 over 400 children aged 2 through 16 have received school supplies to help improve their learning environment. The supplies are distributed through the Punta Cana/Bávaro community. Both the guests and staff contribute requested items to the project.

A second project supported by the hotels is delivering basic necessities and personal hygiene supplies to a non-profit nursing home. These institutions depend on the generosity of others to serve their clients. More than 50 seniors and chronically ill patients have benefitted from this project that began in January 2018.
