Maria’s Story

I discovered Pack for a Purpose last summer and now won’t travel without first checking this website to see what the need is where we are going. I’ve spent 32 years teaching elementary school so my soft spot is for children in need. I took advantage of back to school deals at home, packed almost 100 packages of crayons, markers, colored pencils, pens and pencils. Since Aruba has to import most if not all of these items, my $45 went a long way. Sharing our blessings is a great way to be responsible travelers making a difference in the beautiful places we visit.
