Lindsay’s Story

My husband and I travelled to Uganda in the summer this year and it was there that we discovered PfaP whilst staying in one of the lodges in the remote area of Bwindi Forest.  As soon as we booked our trip to Costa Rica in November we were keen to participate and so chose a location close to our accommodation which was collecting and distributing items for a number of orphans.  We packed a bunch of simple toiletries; shampoo, soap, hand cream and toothpastes, some combs and hair bands and pins and additionally some coloured pencils, writing pencils, markers, erasers and pencil sharpeners.

I have no doubt this is the start of something we will continue to be part of as we travel in our retirement.
