The Forts’ Story

Pack for a Purpose is always thrilled when travelers choose to take supplies whenever possible. Thank you Fort family for your generous hearts and your desire to make a Big Impact when you travel. 

We visited South Africa just prior to COVID and through our travel broker became familiar with Pack for a Purpose. We collected two large suitcases full of supplies for The Fold, a children’s orphanage in South Africa supported by Ant’s Nest & Ant’s Hill. The lodge took us to deliver the supplies and it quickly became a highlight of our trip. It was wonderful to meet the staff and children. This experience made such an impact on us that whenever we travel abroad, we search out a PfaP partner.

Just got back from a trip to Peru where we donated 100 pounds of school supplies, health care items and sports equipment for a shelter outside of Lima. This project was sponsored by the Hotel Antigua Miraflores. This time around we were not able to visit the partner agency in person, but that’s OK… a representative came to our hotel and took possession of the donations. He was thrilled with the amount we had collected.

This was our 2nd experience with PfaP. We are blessed to be able to travel and partnering with PfaP is our way of sharing our good fortune with others. We are committed to finding a partner any time we travel abroad.
