The Kreis Family Story

We are the Kreis Family! Myself, husband Michael, and our two sons Landon and Anderson Kreis all got to participate with Pack for a Purpose this October 2023. Six years ago, my youngest son Anderson created a yearly food drive for our local food bank in Arlington, TN. For the past two years, after collecting donations, he has Packed for a Purpose and taken them to Negril, Jamaica and Turks & Caicos.

This year’s trip was extra special as I arranged a visit to a local school: Enid Capron Primary School. It’s been a bucket list experience for myself and my family. We were greeted with a classroom full of lovely kiddos! We were invited to read books covering the topic of Food Security. Our family got to read, laugh, and talk to the kids about the foods they love. It was the highlight of our entire trip! We also got a tour of the garden that is located at the school. Being a parent that has been very involved in my kid’s school, I wish I had the time to stay and help more!

We are planning on returning the same week in October 2024! We hope we are able to visit the school again!
