Visiting orphanages

Pack for a Purpose does not condone visiting orphanages, as this can often lead to negative impacts on children. The accommodation or tour company working with the orphanage will deliver the supplies in a coordinated and respectful way so that the children can benefit from them. Your generosity is not diminished because you do not interact with the children.

Project Description

The Church of Christ Elementary School serves 250 children from ages 4 through 13 years old. The Church of Christ elementary school is one of the poorest schools in one of the poorest areas of Corozal. We not only help with supplies but sponsor a number of their graduates to further their studies in high school.

Project Description

Serenity Sands supports Corozal Hospital by helping to improve the conditions of the poorest and most vulnerable in Corozal. They do so by donating supplies to the Mental Health unit of the Corozal Hospital and giving Christmas presents to HIV-infected children and their brothers and sisters.

Project Description

The Corozal Animal Program envisions a community where all animals receive care, are treated with dignity and respect and protected from cruelty and neglect. They focus on spaying and neutering dogs and cats to prevent unwanted puppies and kittens.
