Pack for a Purpose would like to welcome its newest intern, Cameron Vandenboom!

Cameron is a senior at NC State University and found Pack for a Purpose through the English internship program at NCSU.  Cameron studies English with a concentration in Secondary Teacher Education.  She will be graduating in December and hopes to work as a middle school or high school English teacher in the triangle area.

When Cameron learned about the work Pack for a Purpose does to impact people and communities all over the world, she told us she was thrilled to join the PfaP team.  Between working with children and teenagers, her passion for education, traveling to Ecuador for missions trips, and teaching ESL/ELL students during her time student teaching, she realized that the organization would be a perfect fit for her.  Cameron writes and edits content on the website, maintains social media content, edits and uploads photos for the website and social media, and communicates with participants who want to get involved.

Cameron told us, “I am excited to be interning with an organization that touches so many lives across the globe!”
