How One Motorcycle Tour Company + PfaP Travelers Made a Difference in the Lives of Ecuadorian Children

Since 2015, Ecuador Freedom Bike Rental has been participating in the Pack for a Purpose program, and the experience has been nothing short of heartwarming and inspiring. The program, which encourages travelers to bring much-needed school supplies and other items to the communities they visit, has enabled our motorcycle tour participants to connect with the locals on a much deeper level than they ever imagined.

The impact of this program cannot be overstated. Thousands of children in the most remote areas of Ecuador have benefited from the generosity of our clients, who have packed pencils, books, sporting goods, art supplies, and other needed school supplies into their suitcases and then into their saddlebags to ride them by dual-sport adventure motorcycle into the remote corners of Ecuador. These are items that most of us take for granted, but for the children in these communities, they make all the difference in the world.

The joy and gratitude on the faces of the children and their families when they receive these gifts is truly indescribable. It’s a reminder that even small acts of kindness can have a ripple effect and create meaningful change in the world.

Beyond the impact on the communities we visit, the Pack for a Purpose program has also had a profound impact on our motorcycle tour participants.
